Lance Bass – Man Crush

Lance Bass has accomplished a lot in his lifetime, from American pop singer, dancer, actor, film and television producer, to author. Her released an autobiography called Out of Sync in October of 2007, and it debuted on the New York Times Best Seller list.

About N’SYNC

In 1995 Lance Bass received a call from Justin Timberlake and his mom, Lynn Harless, who asked Bass if he would be interested in auditioning for the pop group NSYNC. Once he auditioned he was added to the group and later moved out to Orlando, Florida so he could rehearse full-time.

The group moved to Munich, Germany to record their first album with BMG and Lance’s mother quit her job and moved to Germany to act as a chaperone. Their touring in Europe paid off, later landing them a deal with American record label RCA in 1997. After releasing their first single in the USA they became an overnight sensation.
Bass came out as gay in a cover story for People magazine on July 26, 2006. He knew he was gay since he was a young child but decided to keep it a secret while he was in the band because he knew there where four other guys’ careers to think about. He knew if he came out the news would overpower the band and their success.Bass met his now-husband Michael Turchin, an American painter of Pop Art portraits and film actor, at a friend’s birthday party in Palm Springs, California.

“I am so shy and never would have made the first move. I was thinking, ‘This is Lance Bass. I grew up watching him on TV and listening to his music.’ That just added a whole other layer of intimidation,” says Turchin.

Michael Turchin and Lance Bass married on December 20th, 2014 at the Park Plaza Hotel. The two wanted their wedding to be very unique and hired wedding planner Sharon Sacks and had approximately 300 guests. “We wanted it to have a royal vibe, and everything about the place is over the top and gorgeous. It was exactly the backdrop we needed.” Bass says.AllMale.com
